The Anson County Partnership for Children will host its sixth annual fundraising event presented by Anson Bank and Trust on Friday, January 27, 2012 from 6:00 pm to midnight in the Ingram Room at SPCC’s Lockhart Taylor Center in Wadesboro. As in the past, all proceeds will benefit literacy activities for children in Anson County including Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library. Each year the Barn Blast features a western theme, a delicious dinner, an open bar of beer and wine, music, silent auctions, a live auction, dancing and lots of fun. Tickets are available now for $35.00 at the Partnership office or by calling 704 694-4036. After January 13, tickets will be $45.00. For the first time, reserved Barn Blast tables for eight guests are available for $300.00 at the Partnership office.
